Custom Musician Earplug “The One”

The One is a custom-made musician earplug designed with musicians’ requirements in mind. It is contrary to most earplugs on the market that cause musicians to have a plugged up feeling that degrades the quality of music. The One was developed to clarify the sounds that a musician must hear. It enables musicians to hear their performance and their fellow musicians around them clearly while at the same time protecting them from hearing damage from high volume sounds.

The One Musician Earplug is made from a proprietary soft fit silicone material. Which allows the musician to re-use them by cleaning them with ordinary soap and water, These earplugs are designed with two filter reduction system. The first filter is a 21-decibel flat attenuated filter if needed, an additional allowance to use different decibels would be provided.

The second is a non-linear filter.  The second filter precisely ensures the sound the musician needs to hear gets in while keeping out the damaging high volume. This is made possible thanks to its two small block design filter which blocks the non-linear filters during very loud activities.

The One comes with a detachable pop chord that allows a musician to remove the earplug anytime they wish. The standard earplug comes in clear however, there are various color choices. In terms of size, The One is tailored to fit your ear. We take a set of earmold impressions of your ear from which we craft a perfect fit earplug. Due to the product being hand made the turn around time from the day we make the impression to the day you receive the product is 21 business days after which we send you a tracking number for the shipment of the product.

The One is appropriate for any musician, marching band, college band, orchestra or for use by frequent concert attendees. Originally, this earplug was developed with the goal of helping music students of the University of South Carolina. It was discovered that a student playing a wind instrument could not hear the color of the notes. the earplugs they used were an etymotic filtered earplug and when used, they experienced a “clogged” feeling.
